What’s happening in the coffee world at the moment? Kris Schackman, co-owner and -founder of Five Elephant will give us an overview of current trends, challenges and industry updates next week on December 8, 6pm.

Kris will feature two producers Five Elephant has been working with closely: Felipe Croce from Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza, a renowned organic coffee farm and exporter in Brazil; and Patrick Murray, the owner of FInca El Majahual, a pioneer of Direct Trade and social initiatives in coffee in El Salvador.

 Five Elephant is a specialty coffee roastery, artisanal bakery, and small café chain in Berlin. Their roastery sources and roasts some of the best coffee in the world, in a way that is mindful of the environmental impact, and thoughtful of the social impact on the communities who produce the coffees. We are big fans of Five Elephant, because they share many of our values and sense for mutual support.
